PUTTING YOURSELF OUT THERE by matt burns It's all they've been telling me lately Put yourself out there Put yourself out there Put yourself out there They keep saying That the world of Me Myself And I Isn't a good world It's the wrong world to be in They say be part of the outside But what I've determined Is that the world of the outside Is overrated A mad world I try And I try But I keep on wanting to retreat Back into the world Of me Myself And I
I haven't been writing as much poetry lately, but my new blog THE BURNZO PAPERS has been going strong. I have posted several articles there since the start of 2015. Also, I was recently featured on the video web series "Writer's Infusion" where I read an excerpt from my novel BLOWTORTURE and a panel of judges critiqued it, kind of like they do on "American Idol". The webisode should be up soon and I will be sure to post. Stay tuned!
